Camels Drop Pair of NESCAC Matches DeMais Notches 3,000th Assist in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--The Connecticut College volleyball team (9-5, 2-2) dropped a pair of NESCAC matches at Wesleyan University. Tufts University defeated the Camels 3-0 Friday night (25-10, 25-21, 25-19). Saturday, Bowdoin College defeated the Camels 3-2. Senior setter Marissa DeMais (Hillsdale, N.J.) reached a career-milestone, distributing her 3000th assist. DeMais dished out 17 assists in the match. Sophomore Rachel Schroff (Palos Verdes, Calif.) buried eight kills and Ally Terlizzi (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) tallied 10 digs. In Saturday´s match-up versus Bowdoin, DeMais distributed 41 assists for the Camels. Junior outside hitter Amy Newman (Los Angeles, Calif.) registered 20 kills while Schroff chipped in with nine kills for Connecticut College. -CC-
