WATERFORD, Conn.--The Connecticut College women´s cross country team hosted its home invitational at scenic Harkness State Park in Waterford, Conn. Saturday. Junior Kerry Dermody (Erieville, N.Y.) posted a time of 24:25 on the 6k course to lead the Camels in 51st place. The Camels placed 10th in the 18 team field with a score of 284 points. The Tufts University Jumbos won the race with a score of 53 points. Cortland State placed second with 60 points and MIT was third with a total of 92 points. Lindsay Paiva (Coventry, R.I.) was 55th overall, pacing the Camels with a time of 24:30. Senior Chiara Pandolfi (Rome, Italy) crossed the finish line in 24:31 en route to a 56th place showing. Kelsey Taylor (East Hampton, Conn.) posted a time of 24:46 in 71st place. Junior Ally Bonito (Guilford, Conn.) was next in 81st place with a time of 25:01. Grace Glynn (Saco, Maine) logged a time of 25:23 as the 96th finisher. Michelle Wesley (Millwood, N.Y.) was the seventh Camel runner in 97th place overall with a time of 25:24. Sophomore Katie Beers (Fayetteville, N.Y.) was next, logging the same time as Wesley in 98th place. Results from the Connecticut College Invitational are available here .
