Camels Place Four Runners in Top 10 at Gordon Invitational

WENHAM, Mass.--Connecticut College junior Julianne Fowler (Guilford, Conn.) posted a time of 21:02 en route to a fourth place finish at the Gordon College Invitational Saturday. The Camels placed four runners among the top 10 to finish second in the eight team field at Wenham, Mass. with a score of 44 points. Maura Hallisey (Wethersfield, Conn.) placed sixth with a time of 21:22 for the Camels. Sara Huckins (Henniker, N.H.) was the third Camel to complete the course in seventh place overall with a time of 21:42. Senior Dana Silverberg (Huntington, N.Y.) cracked the top 10, posting a time of 22:12 in ninth place for the Camel harriers. Maddy Conley (Dummerston, Vt.) was the fifth Camel runner in 18th place with a time of 23:29. Junior Ali McLeod (Brewster, Mass.) was 20th overall with a time of 23:36. Senior Tessa Strelow (Winchester, Mass.) completed the 5k course in 21st place with a time of 24 minutes flat. Molly Bangs (Montclair, N.J.) checked in with a time of 24:15 in 22nd place for Connecticut College.
