Honor New London Day is March 1
President Higdon and New London Mayor Martin Olsen '95 cordially invite you to a very special Centennial Celebration honoring New London. The event – Tuesday, March 1, 2011, 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Harris Building Atrium, 165 State St., New London – commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1911 fundraising drive that brought Connecticut College to New London.

Join in the festivities, enjoy refreshments and connect with local community leaders and College alumni, students, faculty and staff. A short speaking program begins at 5:30 p.m. You also will be invited to view an exhibit at The Provenance Center, adjacent to The Atrium, featuring photography by Connecticut College students, faculty and staff, as well as a selection of historic photographs from the College’s archives.
