NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College sophomore forward Laura Sanderson of Hanover, N.H. has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Field Hockey Player of the Week. Sanderson had seven points with three goals and an assist during a perfect 2-0 week for the Camels.

She is a playmaker and can finish for us in front of the cage. We will look for Laura to be a solid contributor for us all season."
At Hanover High School, Sanderson was s three-sport standout who helped lead her program to state titles in field hockey, ice hockey and rowing.
The Camels will host Springfield College Wednesday afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. game on the Artificial Turf at Silfen Field.
