Paiva Paces Camels with 32nd Place Finish at UMass Dartmouth

Complete Results NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.-The Connecticut College women's cross country team scored 314 points to place 10th in the 40 team field at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday. MIT won the invitational with a score of 25 points. Senior Lindsay Paiva (Coventry, R.I.) paced the Camels with a 32nd place finish in 19:34 on the 5k course. Kerry Dermody (Erieville, N.Y.) posted a time of 19:42 en route to a 37th place finish. Ally Bonito (Guilford, Conn.) was the 71st runner to the finish line in 20:21. Senior Libby Maret (Sandy Hook, Conn.) was the fourth Camel in 90th place overall with a time of 20:32. Michelle Wesley (Millwood, N.Y.) checked in with a time of 20:34 in 94th place. Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.) was the 99th finisher in 20:37. Senior Anne Kearney (Westbrook, Conn.) posted a time of 20:53 to finish 117th in the field and Lianne Swanson (Franklin, Mass.) was the 125th finisher in 20:58. In the sub-varsity race, the Camels finished eighth with 201 points. Heather Rochford (Red Bank, N.J.) posted a time of 21:33 to lead the Camels in 35th place.
