Trinity College 2, Connecticut College 0 Camels Will Visit UMass-Dartmouth Tuesday

NEW LONDON, Conn.-The Trinity College men's soccer team earned a 2-0 shutout victory at Connecticut College Saturday. The Bantams improve to 3-1-2 with a 2-0-2 record in the NESCAC, while the Camels fall to 3-2 with a 2-2 mark in league play. Anthony El-Hachem (Vernon, Conn.) chipped in a penalty kick in the 12th minute of action that proved to be the difference maker. Senior forward Dan Meyernick (Gladwyne, Pa.) added his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the first half. Senior Grant Schonberg (Mendham, N.J.) stopped three Camel shots in the win, while Casey Marini (Hampden, Mass.) recorded two stops for the Camels. Connecticut College out-shot Trinity 8-to-6 in the contest but the Bantams held a slim 5-to-4 advantage on corner kicks.
