#12 Camels Place Fourth at 20 Team Danmark Trophy Intersectional

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College coed sailing team competed in the Danmark Trophy Regatta on the Thames River this weekend. The Camels, who are ranked #12 in the latest Sailing World Magazine national ranking presented by Sperry Top-Sider, placed fourth in the 20 team field with a score of 210 points. Sixth ranked Yale held off the Camels to take third place with a score of 209 points. #8 Hobart and William Smith scored 153 points to win the intersectional. The 10th ranked Jumbos of Tufts University took second place with a score of 195 points. Sophomore skipper Kevin Martland and senior Elizabeth Wilsterman teamed up for a sixth place finish in the A division with a score of 110 points. In the B division, Atlantic Brugman, Grace Medley, Claire Sacco, Ryan Daly and David Rex contributed as the Camels scored 100 points en route to a fifth place showing.
