NEW LONDON, Conn.-The Williams College women's soccer team posted its third straight win in a 2-0 victory at Connecticut College Sunday. The Ephs, ranked #14 in the nation, improve to 9-2-1 with a 6-1-1 record in the NESCAC. The Camels slip to 4-7-1 with a 1-6-1 record in conference play. Brett Eisenhart (Seattle, Wash.) netted her team-leading ninth goal of the season in the 28th minute of action and Lilly Wellenbach (West Bath, Maine) added an insurance marker with 1:41 remaining in regulation. Junior net-minder Laura Wann (Palos Verdes, Calif.) made one save in the shutout for the visitors. Natalie Signor (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished with six saves in the contest for the Camels. Senior Jill Cote (Portsmouth, R.I.) impressed the Connecticut College coaching staff with a strong effort in the midfield. Overall, the Camels put forth a much stronger effort than their performance in Saturday's home loss to Bates. Williams will host Colby College next Saturday for an 11:00 a.m. game in Williamstown, Mass. The Camels will host Wesleyan Wednesday afternoon for a 4:00 p.m. game in New London, Conn.
