Under the direction of third year head coach Kenny Murphy, the Camels continue to improve and will be making their second post-season appearance in the past three years. The Camels are preparing for a showdown with the Coast Guard this Saturday at noon. The Camels enter Saturday's game at 7-4-1 while the Bears carry a record of 4-8-1 into the contest. Connecticut College leads the all-time series 21-10-2. The College is celebrating its Centennial and this game could draw the largest crowd in the program's history. Murphy has mixed emotions about the game. He is excited about the energy and enthusiasm that alumni and the community will provide. But he also carries a heavy heart, knowing that it will be the final time his five seniors take the field. "This is truly a great senior class and I am very proud of everything that they have accomplished," Murphy said. "I am excited about homecoming and our Centennial celebration and what this game will do for soccer in Eastern Connecticut. It should be a great day for everyone." Senior back Andrew Lee (Darien, Conn.) buried a penalty kick in the 72nd minute to lift the Camels to a 2-1 victory against Bates College Saturday. The Camels then dropped a close 1-0 decision to Williams Sunday. Isaac Hancock (Gettysburg, Pa.) and Andrew Lee have been patrolling the middle of the defense. Casey Marini (Hampden, Mass.) has notched four shutouts and ranks fourth in the NESCAC with a .810 save percentage. Isaac Hancock (Gettysburg, Pa.) and Lee have been patrolling the middle of the defense. Sophomore Billy Hawkey (Pennington, N.J.) leads the club with four goals and nine points. Senior midfielder Brett Godiksen (Westbrook, Conn.) has tallied eight goals and four assists for 20 points to lead the Bears.
