Connecticut College 78, Albany College of Pharmacy 43 Shinall Pours in Game-High 22 Points for Camels

BOSTON, Mass.--Jenn Shinall poured in a game-high 22 points, knocking down 5-of-8 shots from beyond the arc and grabbing five steals, to lead the Connecticut College women's basketball team to a 78-43 victory in the first round of the Emerson College Tip Off Saturday. The Camels will meet the Emerson College Lions in Sunday's Championship game, slated to tip-off at approximately 3:00 p.m. The Camels raced out to a 36-14 lead at the half and never looked back. Connecticut College shot 54% from the field (30-for-55) and 53% from long distance (9-for-17). Caitlin Cimino, Kaitlyn Cresencia and Jocelyn Summers scored eight points each. Carlee Smith dished out a game-high 10 assists to go with five points and two steals. Kelsey Johnson finished with 14 points and six rebounds for ACOP. Alex Oaks added 11 points in the setback.
