Camels to Host Hoops for Hunger Drive Monday Night

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's basketball team will host Eastern Connecticut State University for a 7:00 p.m. game. The Camels are encouraging fans of both sides, students, faculty and alumni to bring non-perishable food items or cash that will be donated to the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center in New London. "With the current economic crisis and high unemployment that exists, we need to do our part to help out the less fortunate," Connecticut College Head Men's Basketball Coach Tom Satran said. "We hope you can join us and support our mission to fight hunger." There is plenty of free parking and free admission to Monday's game.
