#11 Middlebury College 4, Connecticut College 0 Petchonka Stops 28 Shots for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Middlebury College men's hockey skated to a 4-0 victory against Connecticut College in a NESCAC game played at Dayton Arena Friday night. Sophomore forward Louis Belisle (Repentigny, Quebec) potted a pair of second period goals and assisted on a third marker to lead the 11th ranked Panthers to the victory. Senior Charlie Strauss (Eagle River, Wis.) chipped in with a goal and an assist for the winning side. Martin Drolet (Montreal, Quebec) chipped in with a goal for the Panthers. Senior net-minder John Yanchek (Hillsborough, N.J.) stopped 13 shots en route to the shutout win. Mike Petchonka (Ridgefield, Conn.) finished with 28 saves in the setback for the Camels. The Panthers will visit Tufts University Saturday for a 4:00 p.m. game in Malden, Mass. The Camels will host Williams College in New London for a 3:00 p.m. NESCAC tilt.
