The Connecticut College art department and the adjacent Lyman Allyn Art Museum have teamed up for a provocative exhibit exploring how faculty members conceptualize and create their work – and how teaching influences them.

Works by faculty in the Connecticut College Department of Art, along with artwork from the College Collection, will be on display in galleries on campus from Sept. 5 to Oct. 23. A gallery talk is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m. in the Manwaring Gallery in Cummings Arts Center, followed by a reception.
Participating faculty include Gregory Bailey, Ted Hendrickson, Pamela Marks, Timothy McDowell, Denise Pelletier, Andrea Wollensak, and visiting faculty Brad Guarino and Jane Masters.
