Camels Take Two out of Three at Utica, Improve to 5-3 in Conference Play

UTICA, N.Y.--The Connecticut College women's water polo has won two of three conference matches at Utica College this weekend, improving its record 6-8 with a 5-3 mark in conference action. Saturday afternoon, the Camels defeated Penn State Behrend 15-6 and tamed the Cougars of Chatham University in a 17-3 triumph. The Camels dropped a 13-7 decision to Grove City College Friday night. Kristin Lampley (Reading, Pa.) has erupted with eight goals scored in the three matches while Katie Mullaley (Hingham, Mass.) has scored seven goals for the Camels. Nicky Jasbon (Greenacres, Fla.) has chipped in with five goals and two steals. Kate Jacobson (Collegeville, Pa.) has netted six goals to go with two steals. Megan Wright (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) has contributed with five markers and two steals. Junior net-minder Pam Lovejoy (Guilford, Conn.) stopped eight shots in each of the first two matches played this weekend. The Camels will take on Utica tomorrow morning for a 10:00 a.m. match in the Empire State.
