NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's tennis team earned a 6-3 victory against the Coast Guard in a match-up of neighborhood rivals played on the South Tennis Courts Tuesday. The Camels even their record at 6-6 with the triumph, while the Bears fall to 9-4 with the setback. Freshman Joshua Suneby (Wellesley, Mass.) rallied to take a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory at #2 singles. JC Cangelosi (Estero, Fla.) earned a 7-5, 6-2 triumph at #3. Will Tucker (London, United Kingdom) and Huan Nguyen (Pleasantville, N.Y.) prevailed in their respective slot at fifth and sixth singles for Head Coach Chris O'Brien's squad. In doubles action, Cangelosi and George King (Concord, Mass.) posted an 8-6 win at #1 doubles. Coast Guard senior Greg Mitchell (Keene, N.H.) earned a 5-7, 7-6, 6-1 victory at first singles. Blake Maurer (Fort Worth, Tex.) chipped in with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 triumph at #4.
