Tufts University 1, Connecticut College 0 OT McKeigue, Torres Record Two Shots Each for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Allie Weiller (Katonah, N.Y.) scored in the opening minute of overtime to lift the Tufts University women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory against Connecticut College Saturday. The Jumbos improve their record to 3-5-2 and are 1-5-1 in conference play. The Camels are 2-6-1 overall with a 0-6 record in league action. Kristin Wright (Austin, Tex.) stopped six shots en route to the shutout for the Jumbos. Sophomore Natalie Signor (Glastonbury, Conn.) made two saves for the Camels. The Camels continue to play close contests with everyone and this was another game that certainly gone their way. Tufts held an 11-to-10 advantage in shots and a 9-to-4 edge in corner kicks. Senior Ali McKeigue (Arlington, Mass.) and junior Aina Torres (Barcelona, Spain) accounted for two shots each in the setback. The Camels will host Middlebury College tomorrow afternoon for a noon-time NESCAC match up in New London. The Jumbos will host the Gulls of Endicott College this Tuesday afternoon for a 4:00 p.m. game in Medford, Mass
