"The campus looked even more beautiful and welcoming than when we dropped off our freshman - I wish I went to college here!" Teresa Sellers P'16 said via Twitter.

Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather while taking in many of the transformed buildings and spaces across the College, including the newly opened Science Center in New London Hall.

"It has been nearly five years since I graduated, but being on campus brings back all the excitement," said Areti Sakellaris '08. "The renovations in New London Hall left me speechless. The physical changes are making the school more beautiful, efficient and sustainable."

Fall Weekend ushered in the return of Saturday Seminars, including talks by Martha Joynt Kumar '63, professor of political science at Towson University, and a faculty keynote by William Rose, professor of government and international relations at Connecticut College.

Over at Harvestfest, an annual favorite, student clubs and teams sold everything from iPhone covers to baked goods to sweatshirts and posters.

Summing up the momentum on campus, President Leo I. Higdon Jr. told parents, "We are investing in everything that impacts our students' education, including our people, our programs and our historic campus."

Other highlights of Fall Weekend included Cherish the Ladies, Hip-Hop Shakespeare and athletics, including men and women's soccer and field hockey.

A video of the student experience at Fall Weekend was produced by Winslow Crane-Murdoch '13 and Patrick Myers '13 as part of a new student video series. New videos by Crane-Murdoch and Myers will be posted to the College's YouTube channel each week.
