America Reads Challenge Program Coordinator
- Return from summer vacation early for OVCS staff training.
- Recruit potential tutors through OVCS Volunteer Fair, campus publications and active one-on-one recruiting.
- Keep tutors aware of OVCS transportation system changes.
- Organize and implement tutor training sessions with the OVCS Staff Program Director at the beginning of each semester, as well as supplemental sessions throughout the year.
- Meet weekly with OVCS Staff Program Director to discuss programmatic and other relevant issues.
- Distribute and collect evaluation forms from school staff at the end of each semester.
- Keep school personnel and tutors informed about school closings, vacations and holidays.
- Maintain current attendance sheets at the schools.
- Communicate regularly with the tutors to stay aware of how things are going.
