
Controller's Office
The Controller's Office is responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting services for the College. The mission of this office includes:
- maintaining an effective internal control environment to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as relevant federal and state regulations
- ensuring that the accounting records of the college are complete and accurate
- providing efficient and responsive business services to the college community
- distributing financial reports for management uses throughout the college.
The Controller's Office manages the following areas:
- Accounts payable
- Grants and contracts accounting
- Audit management and financial reporting
- Journal accounting
- Cashier and cash management
- Payroll
- Endowment and gift accounting
- Student accounts and loans
- Fixed asset accounting
- Tax accounting and reporting
