Summer School

FAQ - Summer School

Q: Are summer school courses taken at another institution transferable?

In general, courses taken in the summer at another institution may be transferred back to the college. However, the courses must be taken at an accredited institution and they must be analogous to those we offer here. For example, we do not offer 100-level geometry algebra at the college and thus credits for those courses taken elsewhere will not be transferable to the college. Similarly, we do not offer business courses. To be certain that you will be able to transfer credits, you should check with the Office of Records and Registration.

Yes, and the forms are available in the Office of Records and Registration. They must be signed by your advisor and sometimes by the chair of the department in which you are majoring or minoring.
