Q: What is the Honor Code at Connecticut College?

The Honor Code at Connecticut College covers students' academic and social life. Underlying the Honor Code is the philosophy that students are responsible for their own behavior and can make the choice to behave ethically in all aspects of their lives. When students matriculate at the College they sign the Honor Pledge, agreeing to adhere to community standards of behavior in the academic and social aspects of their lives.

Q: What is the Judiciary Board (J-Board)?

The Judiciary Board is composed of students from each of the class years. The Board hears almost all of the cases of violations of the Honor Code and determine appropriate sanctions.
