Kimberly Sanchez, Assistant Director, OVCS

Kimberly Sanchez is pleased to work with the Office of Volunteers for Community Service as the Assistant Director. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish Language from Eastern Connecticut State University. Kim received her Master’s in Public Administration from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Kim served two terms with Public Allies Connecticut, an AmeriCorps nonprofit leadership development program, to work for social and environmental change in the community.

At Connecticut College Kim uses community-based learning experiences to engage the campus and the greater New London communities to support the College's mission in educating students to put the liberal arts into action as citizens in a global society. She works with students, staff, faculty and community partners to design innovative teaching and learning experiences that foster active citizenship and contribute to advancing the quality of life in local and global communities.

Active in New London Rotaract,a Rotary-sponsored club for young men and women, Kim currently serves as the Community Service chairperson.
