New Parents Orientation

Freshman Orientation includes a Program for Parents and Families, occuring on Arrival Day for freshmen in  August.

Parents and family members of new students have the opportunity to meet informally with College deans and faculty members and participate in workshops, mini-classes and College tours to get a sense of the life your student will have on campus.

You'll learn about the College's interdisciplinary centers, the Career Enhancing Life Skills (CELS) and e-Portfolio program, traditional study abroad programs, and the College's other innovative and varied opportunities for study and research.

The Program for Parents and Families culminates in a President's Assembly, followed by a brief reception.

The Dean of Studies site offers more information about the various programs of Freshman Orientation and your student's first days on campus.
