Sprout


Sprout is a student-run organic garden located in central campus behind the College Center at Crozier-Williams ("Cro") that offers an opportunity for students to become involved in gardening and sustainable agriculture, as well as to provide local, organically grown produce to the campus dining halls.

Mission

  • Educating the Connecticut College community about sustainable agriculture
  • Providing a means to learn about sustainable agriculture firsthand by working in the campus garden
  • Supplying sustainably/organically grown foods to the dining halls
  • Promoting the purchase of locally and organically grown foods
