H1N1 Guidance for Connecticut College Staff Employees

• Staff employees with suspected signs of H1N1 should always stay home
  
  
• Employees will notify his/her supervisor that they are ill and will stay home until 24 hours after their fever has subsided
  
  
• If an employee reports to work with influenza symptoms, he/she will report to their supervisor, and should voluntary elect to go home. The employee may be directed to the Occupational Health Nurse Manager (OHM) for evaluation.
  
  
• Employees will be directed to remain at home until 24 hours after their fever has subsided (approx. 3-5 days)
  
  
• Prior to their return to work, employees will contact the OHM
