Through the Office of the Dean of the College, undergraduate students enrolled at Connecticut College are eligible to apply for emergency funding.  There is a limited amount of funding available to students to address urgent needs, such as medical and dental emergencies not covered by insurance, prescriptions or medication, and some unanticipated events, including travel emergencies.

The Connecticut College community has deployed the Student Emergency Fund to address student needs related to the ongoing global public health crisis surrounding COVID-19.  These needs include food insecurity, wifi/internet connectivity, travel due to COVID-19, moving and packing expenses, and lost student wages.

This fund provides the Office of the Dean of the College with the flexibility and resources necessary to address student hardships as they arise.  The funds are limited and will not cover the entire cost of emergencies.  Please contact Dean Marina Melendez at mmelende@conncoll.edu or email doc@conncoll.edu.

Students who have graduated or who are on leave are not eligible for funding.

The Student Technology Resource Fund:

The Student Technology Resource Fund, administered by the Office of the Dean of the College, provides limited funding to help undergraduate students who are receiving financial aid to address technology needs.

Please contact Dean Marina Melendez at mmelende@conncoll.edu or email doc@conncoll.edu for additional information.

Students who have graduated or who are on leave are not eligible for funding.
