“Aura” is a foot-controllable visual and audio interface that allows musicians to custom design and intuitively control their lighting environment on stage. This device returns control to the artist and also translates sounds and movements into light, producing the aura of a performer. Designing personal and reactive light shows is made easy and enjoyable, with optional accessories guaranteeing compatibility and portability across venues. Drew’s project was used in performance in the Music Department’s spring semester student composers concert.
