Dear Faculty and Staff, 

As August and the full repopulation of campus approaches, we want you to know we are updating our campus COVID-19 protocols and working through the many details surrounding the fall semester. Your health and safety remains, as ever, our highest priority. As such, we continue to work closely with our partners at Hartford HealthCare to ensure we follow local, state and federal guidance and develop comprehensive campus measures.

With all staff returning to work in person on Monday, Aug. 2 and all faculty returning to teaching in person on Aug. 30, we have received many questions about what protocols will be in place to ensure a healthy work environment. The Summer Guidance page of The Path Forward website outlines our current protocols. We would like to note, in particular, the current mask and distancing requirements: 

• Mask wearing expectations on campus are the same for everyone regardless of your vaccination status. 

• Masks are required indoors, unless you are alone in an enclosed room with the door closed. 

• You do not need to wear a mask outside unless you are in a crowd or at a large event. 

• Social distancing inside is three feet, and there are no distancing expectations when outside.

In the next week, we will share updated protocols for the fall semester. It is important to highlight that there may be changes throughout the semester based on what is happening with COVID-19 in Connecticut, our region and on campus. As we did last year, we will be in regular contact with the campus about plans and expectations.

As you know, to ensure a healthy campus, we need all of you to report your vaccination status to Human Resources. If you have not yet done so, please follow the instructions below. Those who have not reported are required to participate in the College’s weekly testing program.

Fully Vaccinated (two doses of Moderna or Pfizer, one dose of J&J):

You can upload your vaccination card in the CoVerified app  (visit https://www.coverified.us/download) or visit the CoVerified website (https://web.coverified.us/login)  If you use the app on an Android phone, COVID-19 may not appear as a vaccine option. Please use the website link as an alternative

1. If your status in CoVerified is “Remote”, Select Return at the bottom of the screen (this will not change your remote work status at the College, it will just allow you to upload your vaccine record) otherwise proceed to step 4.

2. Complete the Onboarding Questions.

3. Select and view the Camel Cares Pledge to proceed.

4. Select the Report icon from the menu bar.

5. Select COVID-19 Vaccine as the vaccination type, enter the date of your final vaccine dose (your second shot if you received Pfizer or Moderna).

6. Choose and attach an image of your COVID-19 vaccine card.

7. Click Submit.

Alternatively, you can present your vaccination card in person by stopping by the Human Resources Office (Mon – Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
