Help Connecticut College Students

Dear Members of the Connecticut College Community,

On Wednesday, March 11, President Katherine Bergeron announced a series of unprecedented measures to protect the safety of the Connecticut College campus community in the face of the ongoing global public health crisis surrounding COVID-19. Within hours of President Bergeron's announcement, we heard from many asking how they could help. As part of this effort, the Student Emergency Fund has been deployed to address immediate student needs such as travel, housing, lost student wages and more. This fund provides the Dean of the College with the flexibility and resources necessary to address student hardships as they arise.

This is a challenging time, but what continues to inspire us is the desire of the Conn family to help in any way they can. As President Bergeron said in her initial announcement to the campus, "Connecticut College is a community of character and a community of care." Thank you for your care for our students at this time. If you would like to make a gift to the Student Emergency Fund please visit our online giving page.

With gratitude,

Kim M. Verstandig P'23
Vice President for College Advancement
