Display Your Camel Pride on May 17

Dear Class of 2020 Students, Parents and Guardians,

We hope that you are safe and well. As you know, the Commencement Task Force is working on a special remote celebration for the Class of 2020 on May 17. We received a number of good suggestions from parents on ways to mark this day and we are writing to update you on one of them.

Maria Isabel Salazar, mother of Hector Salazar ’20, gave us the wonderful idea to create signs to celebrate the accomplishments of our seniors. We are excited to share that our printing partner, Copy Cats of New London, is offering the opportunity for you to order signs–for front lawns, windows or wherever else you’d like to post them–congratulating our Conn grads! The signs are available in a number of designs (displayed below) and can incorporate names and/or photos. The College will send one sign in honor of each senior to families in the United States that request one. Simply go to the Copy Cats website , enter the promo code “CONNCOLL2020” and place your order by May 7. Additional signs are available for $10 each plus any additional costs for shipping. Expedited shipping also is available for an additional cost. For those living outside of the United States or who would prefer to post a digital sign on social media, you may download them directly from a special website.

We hope you are as proud as we are to celebrate our soon-to-be graduates and that displaying our Camel spirit from coast to coast brings some much needed joy during these unprecedented times. We encourage you to share photos of your posted signs on social media using the hashtag #MyConnGrad for parents and #ConnColl2020 for students.

Sincerely,
