Important Information About Spring 2020 S/U Option

Dear Students,

Later today you will receive an email with a link to a form, so that you can indicate which of your spring 2020 letter-graded courses you would like to change to S/U. 

  • If you do nothing, your courses will remain letter-graded.
  • You must submit your response by 5 pm EDT on Wednesday, May 6.
  • You may only complete the form once. Please do not submit the form until you have finalized your choices.
  • Once you've selected S/U in place of a letter grade and submitted the form, your decision is final and may not be reversed. 

If you are unsure of your current grades in your courses, please reach out to your instructors to aid in making your decision.

The following information will appear on the transcript key.

In the Spring 2020 semester, a global health emergency led to significant disruption, including the transition from in-person to remote instruction. Grades may reflect these factors rather than the student's work.p

If a course is missing from the list or a course is appearing on the list that you have not been attending, please contact your class dean for further instructions.

Students studying away in spring 2020 will receive a message from the registrar's office once their transcript has been received, with additional information on the S/U option.
