Laurie Schaeffer is the Associate Chief Information Officer for Connecticut College. She has worked for the College for over twenty years in various technical management roles. In her current position, she oversees Enterprise Systems, a team of developers, programmer/analysts, and database administrators, and leads the Portfolio & Project Management Office (PPMO). As the Associate CIO, Laurie works closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead strategic technology decisions and initiatives for the college.
Laurie holds a BS in English Education from the University of Connecticut and an MS in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2015 and certified ScrumMaster since 2021.
