Nick Roesler is an actor and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Theater at Connecticut College. He teaches the course Acting 1: Preparation.
After obtaining his BA in theater studies and English literature from Connecticut College, he studied with the National Theater Institute at Eugene O’Neill Theater Center and The Moscow Art Theatre School, and then he earned his MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University. He also studied at The Second City in Chicago, Illinois and the Fitzmaurice Voicework Freedom and Focus Conference in Dublin, Ireland. He has taught workshops and courses across the United States, Australia and South Korea.
Nick’s most recent work in theater has been in Philadelphia, PA where he performed with Inis Nua Theater Company, the Arden Theatre Company, Delaware Shakespeare Festival and New City Stage Company. Nick has also recently acted with The Organic Theater Company and Circle Theatre in Chicago, IL. In Connecticut, he has acted with O’Neill Playwrights Conference, as well as the New Works, New Britain Theater Festival. He has directed and developed new work for Panglossian Theater in Williamsburg, VA.
Nick is a former Associate Director of the National Theater Institute's Theatermakers program, as well as a past faculty member with the Theatermakers program.
