Adjunct Faculty, History
The Department of History at Connecticut College invites applications to teach two courses on Modern European History, one in the fall, 2020 and another in the spring, 2021 (semesters could be negotiated). We seek a colleague who is an excellent teacher and is enthusiastic about working closely with students in a liberal arts context. The two courses are: HIS107 EUROPE: MEDIEVAL TO MODERN (fall), and HIS234 MODERN EUROPE (spring). Classes meet twice a week. The successful candidate should be an advanced ABD or have a Ph.D. in History at the time of appointment. Fall classes begin the last week of August; spring classes begin the third week of January.
