Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Connecticut College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in mathematics for the academic year 2024-25. Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field; candidates who have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. other than the dissertation will also be considered.

The teaching load will be five courses during the 2024-25 academic year. Candidates will be expected to teach introductory and intermediate courses. Courses will depend on the candidate’s interests and departmental needs and may include calculus, introductory statistics, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, regression techniques, or more advanced courses.
