WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.--The Connecticut College men´s cross country team competed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown, Mass. Saturday. The Camels placed 20th out of 43 scoring teams with 599 points.
Williams College placed three runners in the top 20 to capture the ECAC Crown on its home course with a winning score of 85 points. The St. Vincent College Bearcats scored 89 points to place second and the Bates College Bobcats were third with a score of 101 points.
Andrew Duarte (Rocky Hill, Conn.) posted a time of 28:36 to lead the Camels in 75th place on the 8k course. Colin Gallant (Ashford, Conn.) was the 108th runner to reach the finish line with a time of 29:22. Sophomore Brenner Green (Lisbon, Conn.) checked in with a time of 29:46 in 129th place for Connecticut College.
Tristan Cole (St. Helena, Calif.) finished in 134th place with a time of 29:48. Junior Andrew Patton (West Orange, N.J.) posted a time of 30:22 in 168th place for the Camels. Matt Boudreau (Bridgewater, Mass.) was next in 176th place with a time of 30:36. Sophomore Dan Post (Pepper Pike, Oh.) rounded out the top seven with a time 32:09 as the 224th finisher.
