10th Ranked Camels Sailing in 11th Place at ICSA Nationals

MADISON, Wis.--After two days of waiting on the docks at Lake Mendota, the Camels are competing in the finals of the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association National Championship. Connecticut College is 11th in the field of 18 teams with 195 points through the first 11 rounds of racing. The College of Charleston is in the lead with a score of 84 points. Boston College is in second place with 109 points and Old Dominion is in third with a score of 131 points. Junior skipper Maggie Shea (Wilmette, Ill.) and senior crew Kelly Arabia (Braintree, Mass.) are in 10th place in the A Division with a score of 98 points for Connecticut College. Sophomore skipper Bitsy Whipple (Plandome, N.Y.) and Katrina Salk (Jamestown, R.I.) have scored 97 points and are in 11th place for the Camels.
