Camels Take Three out of Five Home Matches, Even Record at 5-5
NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College leveled its record at 5-5 this weekend with wins over Utica College, Penn State Behrend, and Chatham University in Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) action played at Lott Natatorium this weekend.
Connecticut College could not keep up with league-leading Grove City College on Friday, falling 5-17, but a close 7-8 loss to Washington and Jefferson Sunday indicates that the Camels are back on track to compete with the top teams in their conference.
Saturday afternoon, the Camels defeated Chatham 14-6 before taming the Lions of Penn State Behrend in the night-cap, 6-1. After dropping their close one goal decision to the Presidents of W & J, the Camels routed Utica, 13-5, in the final match of the weekend.
