Stevens Tech. 8, Connecticut College 1 Tasi/Friedman Secure 8-4 Victory at #3 Doubles for Camels

ORLANDO, Fla.--The Connecticut College Men's Tennis team (2-2) continued their Spring Trip in Orlando Florida with a 1-8 loss to the up-and-coming Ducks of Stevens Institute of Technology (4-1) on Wednesday. The match was played at Star Island Resort and Spa - where the Camel team is staying for the week - under partly cloudy skies with a light breeze out of the southwest. The lone Camel point came from the dynamic duo of Colin Tasi and Henry Friedman at #3 doubles, winning 8-4. Tasi provided some clutch serves while his partner Friedman delivered with a solid performance at the net. Co-Captain Craig Stanton fell just short in a marathon match at #5 singles. After dropping the first set 1-6, Stanton clawed back, winning the second set in a tiebreaker (9-7) before being edged in the third set super-breaker (7-10). 3/17 Stevens Tech 8, Connecticut College 1 Singles 1.
