NEW LONDON, Conn. --The Connecticut College men's and women's swimming and diving teams continue to make waves in the region and on a national level.
Both teams have cracked the top 25 in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Poll.
The women's team is ranked 21st in the nation, while the men have vaulted into the ranking at #25 with clutch early season wins against Tufts University and Middlebury College.
Connecticut College Head Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Coach/Director of Aquatics Marc Benvenuti is in his 10th season at the helm of the Camel program.
Last season, the Camel women scored 69 points to finish in 14th place at the NCAA Championship. Powered by All-American back-stroker Tim Walsh, the Camel men finished 25th in the country.
"We are excited to receive this national recognition from the CSCAA," Benvenuti said. "We are just looking to improve with each and every practice. Go Camels!"
