It’s a one-of-a-kind celebration of the College’s 100th birthday, and no one wants to miss out.
The number of alumni planning to return to campus for Centennial Reunion June 3-5 is up 57 percent from Reunion 2010. The deadline for registering for class meals and on-campus housing was Thursday, May 26. For more information e-mail email@example.com.
Several classes -- including 2006, 1976, 1966 and 1951 -- are poised to set records for attendance for 5th, 35th, 45th and 60th reunions. Six members of the Class of 1941 have registered for their 70th Reunion, the most in recent memory.
“Many alumni are telling us that if there’s one reunion they absolutely want to come to, this is it,” said Sarah Fournier, assistant director of reunion. “It’s so exciting to see – the Centennial is really driving the numbers up.”
The weekend is packed with special events honoring the Centennial, including fireworks, an all-reunion gala and a keynote talk by Nina Totenberg, NPR’s legal affairs correspondent.

This is the reunion year for alumni in classes ending in ’1 or ’6, but all alumni are welcome to join the festivities. The schedule includes plenty of time to relax and reconnect with friends, enjoy the campus and hear talks on everything from the College’s architecture to its founding and history.
If you've ever wondered how Floralia started -- or heard the awful rumor that at one time you couldn't graduate without passing a comprehensive exam in each subject -- you'll want to drop in on the "traditions" discussion, for example.
“We’re looking forward to a record-breaking reunion. It’s great to see how interested alumni are in celebrating the College’s legacy and its history,” Fournier said. Alumni are coming from as far away as Germany, Hong Kong, India and England.
