#13 Bowdoin College 7, Connecticut College 2 Prophet/Weisberger Triumph at #1 Doubles for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn. --Bowdoin College earned a 7-2 victory against Connecticut College in a NESCAC match played on the South Tennis Courts Sunday afternoon. The 13th ranked Polar Bears (8-2, 3-0) triumphed in all six singles pairings to pull out their fourth straight win. The Camels slip to 3-5 and are 0-2 in league play. Connecticut College Junior Trevor Prophet (Nashua, N.H.) and sophomore Jeff Weisberger (Wayne, N.J.) notched an 8-3 victory at #1 doubles. Junior Craig Stanton (Warwick, R.I.) and freshman George King (Concord, Mass.) gutted out a 9-7 win at #3 doubles in the setback for the hosts.
