NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College junior skipper Maggie Shea (Wilmette, Ill.) and senior crew Kelly Arabia (Braintree, Mass.) have been honored as the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association´s Women´s Sailors of the Week. Shea and Arabia placed second in the A Division at the Navy Spring Intersectional this past weekend in Annapolis, Md. The Camels finished fourth out of 17 teams at the regatta and have climbed all the way up to #10 in the latest Sailing World Magazine Collegiate Poll. "When we need a good performance, Shea and Arabia step up for us," Connecticut College Head Sailing Coach Jeff Bresnahan said. "We are excited to be in the top 10 nationally so early in the season. We want to keep on going and get to the top." This is the second time this year that Shea and Arabia have garnered this weekly accolade from the NEISA.
