About dining

Food is important to you, and providing you with a satisfying culinary experience — morning, noon and night — is important to us! We offer diverse dining options, including vegetarian and international fare, and cozy atmospheres in our five all-you-care-to-eat dining halls. You will get to know our staff (we are self-operated, so all staff are College employees and we do not use an outside food service), and they will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible.

Enjoy more than 40 beverage selections, 15 popular cereals, a daily salad bar with no less than 10 different daily dressing options and a grill station serving burgers, hotdogs, fish, chicken and fries. Relax over a hearty breakfast cooked just the way you like it, or grab a bagel and a cup of cofee on your way to class. Our daily menus include an always fresh variety of vegetarian items, pastas, soups, pizzas and comfort foods. And don't forget dessert — between ice cream, soft serve, novelties, cakes, pies, cobblers and our world-famous, can't-have-just-one cookies, there isn't a sweet tooth on campus we can't please.

Dining Services belongs to a professional organization called the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS). This organization comprises approximately 750 colleges and universities, most of which are self-operated.

Environmental stewardship

We have several programs designed to reduce waste and support local farms. For example, we partner with the on-campus organic garden, Sprout!, to buy produce grown right here on campus. Also, we've gone trayless. By eliminating trays and educating students about how much food is wasted when their trays are filled, we've reduced our food waste by 16 percent. Go us!
