President Higdon welcomes alumnae who have celebrated their 50th Reunion, with a special toast for the Class of 1963.
The podcast continutes with remarks by Amy Gross '63 on "Waking Up: The Search of a Lifetime." Gross currently teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, developed by microbiologist Jon Kabat-Zinn at the UMass Medical Center.
President Higdon's "State of the College" speech from Alumni Convocation addresses campus improvements and future plans for the College. The ceremony also features award presentations that include the Connecticut College Medals, the highest honor the College confers.
