Greer Music Library is located on the lower level of Cummings Arts Center and provides collected scores of major composers, study and performance scores of music, and sound recordings of musical performances. Current faculty, students and staff can place requests for sound recordings held at Greer Music Library through OneSearch. Special collections of sound recordings include the Hilliar Collection (opera) and the Shelley Jazz Collection. A special collection of 19th- and 20th-century sheet music of popular songs, held at the Linda Lear Center for Special Collections & Archives, is also available for research use. Music-related monographs, bound journals, video resources and reference materials are held in the general collection at Shain Library.

The Greer space includes listening stations, an electric piano, and headphone checkout, along with carrels and comfortable seating for group and individual study.
