Summer Sessions for 2022

Connecticut College students are invited to explore new subjects or to enhance their majors through 2 five-week sessions during Summer 2022. Session II courses, July 5 - August 5, are open to Class of '26! 

Join your fellow Connecticut College students and take courses with your favorite professors, pursue a new interest, or explore new disciplines!

Courses will be offered over two sessions:

Session I: May 31 - July 1, 2022

For classes of ’23, ’24 and ’25

Session II: July 5 - August 5, 2022

For classes of ’23, ’24, ’25, and ’26 (newly accepted students)

All courses are taught by Connecticut College faculty. There is no need for approval for outside courses or transfer credits–these are Connecticut College courses. Current students may enroll in up to 6 credits per session, with a maximum of 10 credits overall. New students may enroll in one 4-credit course. 

All courses will be offered remotely and will be held synchronously. Please review the meeting time and day of the course before registering, as attendance during the specified class time is required.  Meeting times are all EDT (Eastern Daylight Time).

COURSES

The final courses will be determined for Session I the week of April 25th and Session II by the week of May 23, based on required minimum enrollment. Students will be notified of courses that will not be held and will be given the opportunity to select another course, based on availability. We recommend that you register as soon as registration opens if you are interested in a specific course.

Course cost

The cost for all Conn students, including RTC and SD, per 4-credit course is $3750; the cost per 2-credit course is $2250. Current students may apply for Summer Financial Aid between March 8 and April 9, 2022, and will be notified of their award before pre-registration. Courses must be paid in full, minus the Financial Aid award, before the start of the session.  Matriculated, degree-seeking students may enroll in up to six credits per session.

Special Opportunity for the Class of 2026

Begin your Connecticut College education early by enrolling in Summer Session II, July 5 - August 5. Camels love a head start!

  • PSY 206 - Social Psychology (AP Psych required)
  • PSY 214 - Biopsychology (AP Psych required)
  • SOC 103 - Introduction to Sociology
  • STA 107 - Introduction to Statistics

*LA 103 - Career Preparation, the Hale Career Center’s 1-credit course, will be offered at no charge to members of the Class of 2026. This course is required for all Conn students to get a head start on career development opportunities and funding. Class of ’26 students will have many opportunities to take this course in their first and sophomore years, but this is a great opportunity to start the process early! Submit interest form for LA 103 by June 15.
