The campus will be bustling with activity this summer, as our facilities team and their partners work on an aggressive timeline to complete an array of projects that will positively impact the campus. These projects include improvements to student residences, Unity House, Shain Library, performance spaces and pedestrian safety.

Beginning June 7, the Powerhouse road, Becker parking lot and Larrabee parking lot will all be closed to accommodate repair and restoration of walkways leading to the pedestrian bridge along with expanding a section of road between the Power House and Becker House. The completed roadway is expected to help redirect some vehicle traffic away from the center of campus that is heavily traveled by pedestrians. During the period of construction, access to the pedestrian bridge will be rerouted around Becker House.

Work is expected to be completed by the third week of August. During the summer, as additional planned work is undertaken in different locations, some access to buildings may be temporarily blocked or rerouted. News and updates regarding the construction schedule, as well as a list of additional projects, will be available throughout the summer on this website.

We realize that with the scope of work scheduled, there may be times when it could be loud and pose an inconvenience. The College is committed to working with our partners to minimize disruptions.
