The Research Support and Curricular Technology (RS&CT) team partners with faculty and students to advance teaching, learning, and research at Connecticut College. Our team brings together specialized expertise in Research and Instruction, Instructional Technology, Digital Scholarship, and Media Services to provide a collaborative and cohesive approach to the academic experience.
From foundational information literacy to advanced digital publishing and classroom technology, we are here to collaborate on the projects that define a Connecticut College education.
Partnering in Teaching and Research
We work alongside faculty to integrate information and data literacy into the curriculum, redesign assignments for the AI era, and implement innovative technologies. Through individual consultations and the Technologies for Teaching and Research workshop series, often held in partnership with the Joy Shechtman Mankoff Center for Teaching & Learning, we help faculty navigate the evolving information ecosystem.
Empowering Student Researchers
Students are at the heart of our work. We provide personalized research consultations for everything from first-year seminars to senior honors theses. Our goal is to ensure every student graduates with the critical thinking and information literacy skills necessary for lifelong learning.
AI@Conn Initiative
Launched in 2024, the AI@Conn initiative is a three-year program designed to position Connecticut College as a leader in AI integration within the liberal arts. We offer workshops, course development stipends, and student literacy programs to explore the pedagogical impact and opportunities of generative AI.
